Big news for Idaho families and public charter schools! The Idaho Charter School Association is thrilled to congratulate North Star Charter School in Eagle on its exciting expansion announcement.
Thanks to a newly awarded federal Charter School Program grant, North Star will be able to grow its high-performing K–12 program and welcome more students into its school community. As highlighted by Idaho Ed News, this expansion helps meet the strong and growing demand for high-quality public charter school options across Idaho.
This milestone didn’t happen overnight. North Star’s growth is the result of years of hard work, strong leadership, and a clear commitment to students. The school has built a reputation for making sure every student is truly known, supported, and challenged—and families have taken notice.
With this expansion, even more students will have access to the engaging learning environment and academic opportunities that North Star is known for. It’s exciting to see a successful charter school grow in a way that directly responds to community needs.
We’re proud to celebrate North Star’s leadership, teachers, staff, and families for this well-earned achievement and can’t wait to see the positive impact this next chapter will bring. Congratulations to the entire North Star community. ICSA is cheering you on!
