ICSA serves as a statewide advocate for students, families, and educators and works to ensure public charter schools remain a strong, sustainable option within Idaho’s public education system.

Public charter schools in Idaho are tuition-free and receive government funding on a per-pupil basis.

Idaho public charter schools are completely free and open to all students, space permitting, with enrollment determined through a lottery system.

Public charter schools must regularly report on academic results and can be closed if they fail to meet key requirements.
